Manlid Seal PTFE: Comparison of Different PTFE Contents

SUNPASS can make PTFE Manlid Seal with different PTFE contents according to customer's choice.

More PTFE:

Advantages:

Extremely high chemical resistance: Extremely resistant to almost all chemicals.

Excellent temperature resistance: Able to work in extreme temperatures, from -200°C to +260°C.

Low friction coefficient: The surface is smooth and the friction coefficient is extremely low, reducing wear.

Anti-adhesion: not easy to adhere to sealed equipment, suitable for food, pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries where contamination is not allowed.

Aging resistance: Resistant to ultraviolet rays and ozone, not easy to age.

Non-absorbent and non-conductive: suitable for occasions requiring a high degree of insulation.

Shortcomings:

Higher cost: High-content PTFE materials generally cost more.

In practical applications, selecting the appropriate PTFE content and formulation is a matter of balancing performance, cost, and specific application requirements.
